Before delaying any more, let us give you some important tips to clear the UPTET 2026 exam. Some of the basic tips you need to know before starting to give you guidance related to the syllabus.

Consistency, revision, and time management are very important to get good marks. Keep your preparation simple & focused on limited books; don't overload with too many books. You can revise by making small flashcards, mind maps, and short notes, as revision is a very important element to remember everything that you have already learned. Let us start with a basic strategy which you need to know to become a future teacher of UP, or a role model or guider, an instructor, etc.

1. First 30 days

The first 1-2 days will take you to understand the syllabus thoroughly & collect important & relevant resources like books & previous years' & mock papers. Then, after knowing the entire syllabus, you can give study time to each topic according to difficulty level, as follows:

2 hrs → Child Development & Pedagogy (Basics)

1 hr → Language (Hindi/English)

1 hr → English (basic grammar + vocabulary)

1 hr →Hindi Grammar (basic rules)

1 hr → EVS/Science

1 hr  → Math (Class 1–5 level basics)

1 hr → EVS / Science basics

30 min →  Daily Revision

So, for this, you can also read NCERT books from class 1 to 8 to make short notes that can help you to revise at the end. Also, focus on understanding concepts thoroughly but not on memorizing or cramming.

2. Next 30 days

Take another topic such as advanced pedagogy concepts, math problem-solving, language comprehension & EVS/social science. After completing the entire syllabus, solve as many previous year papers & practice more of the mock test papers to improve speed & accuracy. Revise the entire syllabus & weak/tricky topics on a daily basis. You can also follow the pattern given below:

2 hrs → Practice questions

1 hr → Weak topics

1 hr → Previous year's questions

1 min → Revision

3. Next 30 days

You had already completed the entire syllabus for the exam. Now you need to focus on giving 50+ mock tests and previous year papers as much as you can. This will enhance your speed, accuracy, & time management. Also, note down the serious mistakes that you are making in the exam so that you won't make mistakes on the final day of the exam. Also, focus on daily revision on topics that you have already learned.

4. Last 30 days

Don't start with any fresh or new topic. Revise the topics that you had already completed. Revise your short notes and weak areas. Also, don't forget to give previous year papers & mock tests so that you can build confidence & time management.
